Tali and Ben’s wedding sweetly took place on a Sunday as we approached the coming solstice at Taft Gardens and Nature Preserve.  Tali had envisioned a floral forward composition of large faced blooms that were at the peak of bloom in a cornucopia of juicy hues.  She wore a butter cream islet lace dress with black velvet trim and carried a composition of peonies, garden roses, rose champagne Thai silk poppies and sweetpea on the vine which I had cut myself from six foot tall stalks at Palomar Farm.

The chuppah covering was a lace table cloth from Tali’s grandmother  upon which the couple had partaken in many a Shabbat dinner.  We covered the wood framed structure with peonies, emerald tassel amaranthus, pink champagne Thai silk poppies and oak leaf hydrangea at the special request of the bride and groom. Their day was bursting with color, texture and joy.
