A COASTAL WEDDING AT A PRIVATE AVOCADO RANCH
The reception brought their ‘coastal disco’ theme, creating an eclectic mix of the beach’s relaxed vibe and a dance hall’s energy. Wavy patterns on the napkins and creative place cards mirrored the ocean, and a combination of rattan lanterns and disco balls above the dance floor set a dynamic yet cozy tone for the evening.

Sarah & Adam’s California-Chic Wedding at in Ojai
Ojala Floral crafted a birch wood chuppah and adorned it with trailing vines and magenta bougainvillea in an asymmetrical, organic style. “A piece of natural ivory fabric created a roof for the structure, and Adam’s family talit was incorporated,” Sarah says. “The bougainvillea was a nod to our first trip as a couple to Greece, where bougainvillea lined the streets.” Clay urns with clusters of light and airy earth-toned florals lined the aisle.

Early Spring Decor for In the Veggie Kitchen Easter Brunch
Ashley Morgan put together a truly stunning centerpiece anchored by soft pastels. As she built the large arrangement, Ashley looked for a translucent quality in the blooms that would give it a lightness grounded by an abundance of earthy, textural, fragrant greens. Her composition featured hellebores, sweetpea, tweedia, delphinium and muscari accented by eucalyptus, sage, dusty miller, russian kale, collards, broccoli leaf and knife leaf acacia.

An Outdoor Wedding for Erica and John
Erica & John were married at the Ritz Carlton Bacara. Ojala Floral played with soft, feminine, flowers like dahlias, garden roses, & butterfly ranunculus in peach & cream tones, which popped against the navy attire of the bridal party.

A Healthy New Year Lunch with Elissa Goodman
Ashley Morgan did the simple, sparse florals. She arranged Hellebore flowers with blackberry and jasmine vines in low bowls from Irving Place Studio, allowing the florals to spill over onto the table, and the vines to weave around the place settings. In the living room, where guests were sitting for the seminar, Ashley used a Mark Pavlovits Chimney Stack vase to create a similar arrangement, adding some peonies for fullness and texture.

In the Veggie Kitchen: Holiday with Nickey Kehoe and Julie Morris
Inspired by the botanical landscape of Southern California, designers Ashley Morgan and Mimi Jakobson created woodsy, rustic floral elements festive in color yet light in feel. To do so, they pulled mostly from the San Gabriel Valley’s three varieties of pine branches, including mature and new pine cones from a white pine.
