Ojala Floral Wedding Gallery for Georgia & Michael

We imagined the reimagined concept as a turnkey Las Vegas wedding chapel with sweeping mountain views and live floral that felt intrinsic to Ojai set upon the peak of Meditation Mount. Wild, drying chaparral, grasses swaying in the breeze and dusty, washed out local blooms in a palette of forgotten to the yard, earth toned clay pottery.

This second vow exchange was a chance for their loved ones to be of witness, a gift for their resilience and humor through it all, and it served as our prototype for other couples in love in the time of corona.

LOVE IN THE TIME OF CORONA

We imagined the Reimagined concept as a turnkey Las Vegas wedding chapel with sweeping mountain views and live floral that felt intrinsic to Ojai.  Wild, drying chaparral, grasses swaying in the breeze and dusty, washed out local blooms in a palette of forgotten to the yard, earth toned clay pottery.  The afternoon was to feel like the sweet last moments of a fading sunset.

At our first meeting between the team and the Meditation Mount folks, Kat Ferguson of Little Creek Events, mastermind of Reimagined, showed us a short to set the stage for what couples were facing during the first stages of the pandemic.  It was a doc created by Michael of Michael and Georgia.  He films their journey of having to cancel their spring wedding at a private estate in Ojai to exchange vows at a parking lot of the Staples Center.  Georgia carried a pristine white bouquet and wore her mom’s wedding dress to their private asphalted ceremony.  We were all moved to tears and laughter.  We decided to create, what we hoped would be, the Ojai micro-wedding of Georgia and Michael’s dreams.

Their vows were exchanged with sweet smiles and soft tears under a full Sturgeon moon hanging low in the east side of the valley and a pink sun dropping beneath the Topa Topas to the west. This second vow exchange was a chance for their loved ones to be of witness, a gift for their resilience and humor through it all, and it served as our prototype for other couples in love in the time of corona.
