Ellen and Stephen were married at a private estate on Ojai’s East End.  Ellen carried lily of the valley and the couple exchanged their vows on a verdant open field facing an olive grove.  We created an aisle of red muhly, fountain and red love grasses sprinkled with chocolate lace, brown sedum and jewels of opar.  The altar was created with antique hydrangea, leggy princess of charlene garden roses, frothy deflexus and overgrown asparagus greens formed into amorphous, dreamlike shapes against Gothic urns from Found. 

For the dinner tables, pomegranates, figs, passion and royal grapes were placed at the base of stoneware bowls spilling over with Rose Story Farm heirloom garden roses, nerine lilies and chocolate cosmos amongst berries and autumnal foliage.  The grand finale and star of the show was a three foot plus round berry and vanilla cream puff masterfully created by Roxanne Rosensteel.  This was a wedding to remember and a very sweet one at that.
